Historic Aircraft
Head-start Aviation Systems was engaged in the Historic Aircraft Field over a long period of time, supervising different leading projects and operations on the European theater, some of them right from their acquisition.  

  • 1942 Spitfire MK1 complete restoration. More than 15,000 man-hours were devoted to this true restoration, (2002-2008).
  • 1943 DC-3 Operation and Maintenance under FAA Part 125. This aircraft, while under the supervision of Head-start Aviation Systems has had most principal components inspected. A comprehensive Maintenance Inspection Program was developed and approved by the authority.
  • 1943 Harvard IIB Maintenance under CAA  Permit to Fly
  • 1937 Boeing PT-13B Stearman Operation and Maintenance under FAA Part 91
